With summer in full swing and fall on it’s way, you may be wondering what to do with your free time.

Eastern Nazarene, a Christian College on Boston’s South Shore, is just eight miles away from Boston, and there’s plenty to do to keep your summer and fall busy and fun. Whether you’re looking for a cool place to eat this summer or a quiet place to get some homework done this fall, this list will help you break free from your routine and see all that Boston has to offer!

Located just off Newbery Street, is an interactive dining experience. FiRE + iCE is more than just eating – it’s a dining experience.  Grab the food you’re in the mood for and watch as it’s cooked to your taste on their famous round grill. And every Monday night college students get unlimited grill trips for $9.99!

Museum of Fine Arts

If you’re looking for a cool and quiet place to spend sometime look no further than the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. Not only can students get in free with their ENC ID, but new exhibits are constantly opening and there’s quiet corners to hang out and catch up on school work. See what’s happening at the MFA here!

Skywalk Observatory

Take some time to stretch your legs and truly see Boston. Located 50 stories up, at the top of the Prudential Center, is SkyWalk Observatory where you can see a 360-degree view of Boston and beyond. Plan your trip here and make sure to show your ENC ID to receive a student discount!

Mike’s Pastry

If you’ve had a long day of site seeing and enjoying all Boston has to offer, than your last stop has to be Mike’s Pastry. Found in Boston’s North End, better known as Little Italy, Mike’s Pastry is known all over for it’s classic Italian desserts, especially their cannoli’s! Make sure to grab one to bring back to the dorm for later!

The city of Boston is our backyard, so don’t be surprised if you run into other Eastern Nazarene students. From shopping and dinning to museums and more, there’s plenty to do and see around our city!
