Remember Who Got You Here...

Graduation is just 4 weeks away!  You're in the final stretch of big presentations, papers, and job applications. If you're a senior you're either totally ready to get out of here or the finality of it all is kicking in and you're sort of freaking out. Either way, you have had a great college career and are about to get your diploma. You're excited, and your parents are too. They have cared for you for 20+ years and it's time to thank them for their decades of hard work.

As emotional as graduation is for you, it's even more so for your parents. Think about how strange you were as a child and all your parents had to put up with. They saw you through dirty diapers, grade school, the trials of puberty, and they successfully got you off to college. They've loved and supported you and now their little kid is all grown up. Don't forget to stop and thank your parents for raising you and for helping you get to where you are today.

You wouldn't be walking across the graduation stage without your parents so make sure they know how grateful you are for them. Send them a text or call and say thank you. They'll appreciate it and someday when your own kids are in college, you'll be glad you did.

Graduation Countdown:  33 days till graduation!
